94 Particpants, 376 lbs. of trash!

A huge THANK YOU to the many volunteers who showed up to pick up trash on the Estero Bluffs for the annual Creeks to Coast Cleanup on September 21. And a big shout out to those who also helped organize the event - it's a big process!

We had 94 participants of all ages (our biggest turnout, ever), who hauled in 376 pounds of trash! 

Much of the trash was picked up from parking areas. Cigarette butts and small plastics of all kinds constituted the largest categories of debris.  We are happy to note that the number of plastic bags were fewer this year!
