Join the Cayucos Land Conservancy

on Saturday, September 16 from 9am to noon

to clean up our beloved Estero Bluffs.

On Saturday, September 16, the Cayucos Land Conservancy will once again host the annual Estero Bluffs Clean-up Day in coordination with ECOSLO and the California Coastal Commission.

Starting at Killer's Surf spot (Fig Tree Parking area), we will spread out over the four mile stretch from Ocean Ave. to Villa Creek.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket or Bags) and we'll enter you in a drawing!

Be sure to wear sunscreen and good walking shoes. Bring water and gloves and probably a hat, too.

Further directions  and details will be available here soon.

You can sign up here, or just join us at Estero Bluffs State Park Saturday morning!

Last year at Estero Bluffs 32 volunteers collected 151 pounds of trash from 4 miles in just 3 hours and counted:

  • 276 cigarette butts,
  • 108 plastic utensils,
  • 117 beverage cans,
  • 7 yards of rope,
  • a toilet plunger,
  • 395 little pieces of plastic, glass and foam that would have been eaten by birds and much more.

Thousands of volunteers will be swarming the coastlines all over the state for California Coastal Clean-up Day.

Here's why we should clean our coastlines...

    Let's Make Trash Extinct!
