Amber Sandoval has proudly served the Cayucos Land Conservancy since 2015 and currently serves as President of the Board. Raised on the Central Coast, she is a longtime Cayucos resident who is passionate about protecting the landscapes, trails, and open spaces that define the greenbelt surrounding Cayucos. She believes that conserving these places is an investment in the community's future and helps ensure that generations to come can experience the same connection to nature that has shaped her own life.
Professionally, Amber's background spans organizational development, business management, marketing, and design. She is the co-founder of Mical Skincare, an independent skincare company in downtown Cayucos, where she focuses on business strategy, customer experience, and brand development. She also enjoys working alongside her husband and the team at his winery, Aaron Wines, in Paso Robles.
As part of CLC's all-volunteer leadership team, Amber is committed to strengthening the organization's long-term impact by building community partnerships, increasing public engagement, and helping create a sustainable future for conservation in Cayucos.
Amber lives in Cayucos with her husband, Aaron Jackson, and their cat, Mochi. Outside of work and volunteering, she can usually be found in the ocean, playing music with her folk band, or enjoying everything the Central Coast has to offer—sharing farm-to-table meals, local wine, and good times with friends.
